Mungo Homes continues our tradition of building award-winning homes in the Carolinas with a victory at the 2020 Triangle Parade of Homes. Each year, the Parade of Homes invites attendees to tour new homes from the best builders in the area.
Although this year was a little different with a combination of in-person and virtual tours, the parade still included 219 homes in 142 communities from 113 area builders. Attendees were able to scope out a future new home in the Triad to purchase, get to know builders and their quality of work, discover their new favorite features and discover the latest in decor and smart-home technology.
Our Yates floor plan, featured in The Preserve at Kitchin Farms, a new home community in Wake Forest, won a gold medal in its category. This two-story, 4,166-square-foot home has everything families of all sizes need to live, work and play at home for years to come. The large foyer features arched entries that lead to formal living and dining rooms, along with to the open-concept kitchen, breakfast and living areas. With flex rooms that can be used as bedrooms, home offices, playrooms and more, there’s no shortage of functional living space in this plan.
The second floor includes a roomy loft area, large laundry room and walk-in closets in the bedrooms. Fun optional add-ons to the Yates plan include an extra bedroom, sunroom, side-entry garage and even a pet pad for your furry friends to spend time in. Take a virtual tour of one of our most popular plans now, or contact us today to set up an in-person appointment.
The other Mungo home included in this year’s tour was the McDowell plan in the Knightdale community of Rutledge Landing. Another two-story home, this 2,237-square-foot plan features an open-concept first floor with an entryway, family room, kitchen and eating area.
This plan comes standard with four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms but is always available flexible to have a bonus room or home office added on. Included high-demand features like a walk-in pantry and second-floor laundry room make the McDowell a spacious and inviting home at an affordable price. See it for yourself today with a virtual tour.
