Mungo Homes is pleased to announce that for the 3rd time it has been ranked in the Top Workplaces USA. Resulting from a national survey co-sponsored by Energage and USA TODAY, Top Workplaces USA rankings are based solely on employee feedback. A total of 1,526 employers were honored, and Mungo Homes was recognized in the Top 10 for companies with 500-1,000 employees.
"A Top Workplace award brings a company's culture to the national stage, and it helps them differentiate themselves in a fiercely competitive market space," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "It's an honor for the workforce and an effective tool to attract the right talent to an organization."
According to Vice President of Human Resources, Anna Newell, “Mungo Homes has a special focus on team member engagement, employing a Team Member Experience Manager who keeps a finger on the pulse of how folks are feeling, whether in response to seasonal stress, industry pressures, or influences from current events. We believe this contributes to our high level of Team Member engagement.”
In addition, Mungo Homes focuses on retention by getting team members off on the right foot through the two-day Empower orientation that highlights the history of the company, best practices for effective communication and team work, and its Mission “to serve so that others are empowered to thrive” that is carried out not only day-to-day in the workplace but through the Mungo Homes Foundation, which is a cornerstone of the company, and offers opportunities for paid time off to volunteer.
